Imagine you are very sick.

You have gone to the hospital to see a doctor.

You get into the doctor's office to see a man you wrote Jamb for a few years back.

What would you do?

Flee? Stay?

It does not matter what you did at this point.

The truth is that you are standing face-to-face with a monster you created.

And both of you should be behind bars cooling off by now.

Anyways, this is not my verdict. It is the verdict of JAMB, The Joint Admission, and Matriculation Board.

Jamb has stated that the biometrics of all candidates will henceforth be reconfirmed even after they had sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In its Vol. 1, No 27 weekly Bulletin of the Office of the Registrar, the board made this known to the public and stated that the procedure was to fish out impersonators and prosecute them.

Jamb also said that they will not stop at the perpetrators. But they will also prosecute their sponsors.

It further stated that names of impersonators will henceforth be published so that the general public will know the perpetrators or what they called professional examination takers.

Jamb explained that candidates now employ professional examination takers to sit for the exams while the real candidate will be waiting outside.

How is this possible, you would ask.

Well, according to Jamb;

“They register with the candidate's name and afterward, apply for the correction of all other details.

“To address this, the board has resolved to revalidate all biometrics of candidates that have taken the boards examination, to fish out these impersonators and prosecute them along with their sponsors,” it said.

Well, if like me, you used to congratulate every jamb candidate who is boasting of scoring 300 and above.

Now, you know better.

Therefore, each time someone chimes I got 350 in Jamb, please ask him, did you write it yourself?
